NAD + Resveratrol.

The combination of a NAD face cream with resveratrol, collagen, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, aloe vera, and niacinamide.

What is NAD?

NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme which is central to our metabolism and organism. We can generally find NAD is all our cells. NAD contains two nucleotides: one contains adenine nucleobase while the other contains nicotinamide.

NAD can be involved in redox reactions, and the cellular energy currency. NAD+ may also be a substrate for sirtuins, a family of proteins that regulate gene expression.

The oxidized form of NAD+, NADH, is also a coenzyme that may be involved in many biochemical processes. NADPH could be another important reducing agent in the cell. NAD+ is usually synthesized from tryptophan via the enzyme nicotinamide mononucleotide adenylyltransferase (NMNAT). The biosynthesis of NAD+ is regulated by the availability of its precursors, nicotinamide and adenine

Today, you can find NAD in skin care products such as in an NAD Face Cream.

The role of resveratrol

Resveratrol is a natural compound found in grape skin and other plant sources. There are a number of skin care face creams that contain resveratrol. It is classified as a phytonutrient, and is part of a naturally occurring group of compounds called polyphenols. Resveratrol may play a role in anti-inflammatory and antioxidant processes. It is sometimes considered a “super ingredient” because its antioxidant capabilities may play a role with free radicals which could damage skins in specific situations. The combination of NAD + resveratrol can be found in skin care products for example.

More about NAD

NAD is also considered to be a precursor for the synthesis of other important molecules such as NADP+, cyclic ADP-ribose, and S-adenosylmethionine (SAM).

The levels of NAD+ in the cell are often seen as being regulated by a variety of factors, including nutrient availability, energy status, or stress for example.

NAD+ may become degraded to nicotinamide and adenine by the enzymes NADase and ADK. Nicotinamide might be recycled back to NAD+ by the enzyme nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT).

As explained before, NAD+ can be considered to be an important coenzyme involved in many cellular processes. It is involved in energy metabolism, redox reactions, and gene expression.

Collagen and skin care.

Collagen is a protein that is found in the body. It may play a role for the strength and elasticity of the skin. Collagen production usually diminishes with age, which might lead to wrinkles and other signs of aging. Collagen may also serve as one of the main building blocks for our bones, joints, our muscles, and skin. Collagen can be found in different ingredients we eat. You can also find collagen supplements and in cosmetics such as in collagen face creams or collagen serums.

There are also few simple steps that you can take which might help keep your skin wellness and help support your collagen levels:

  • Limit sun exposure: Too much sun can damage collagen and cause premature aging. Make sure to use sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 when you are outdoors, and try to stay in the shade as much as possible.

  • Eat a healthy diet: A healthy diet will help your body to produce more collagen. Be sure to eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, and lean protein.

  • Keep your skin hydrated: Dry skin may lead to wrinkles and other signs of aging. Make sure to drink plenty of water and use a moisturizer daily to help keep your skin moist.

Hyaluronic acid face cream.

Hyaluronic acid is a glycosaminoglycan, a type of mucopolysaccharide. It is usually found in high concentrations in the synovial fluid, where it can help lubricate and cushion joints. It is usually also present in the vitreous humor of the eye, where it could help maintain the shape of the eyeball, and in the skin, where it plays a role in tissue hydration and moisture. Hyaluronic acid is produced by the body and can also be obtained from certain foods, such as eggs and soy. Hyaluronic acid is a component of the extracellular matrix. It can also be found in high amounts in the skin and may play a role for the skin's water retention capacity. It might also help to maintain the structural integrity of the skin. Hyaluronic acid is found in several hyaluronic acid face creams but also in hyaluronic acid serums, or can be found also in different collagen supplements.

Aloe vera skin care.

People have used aloe vera for thousands of years for their skin. Aloe vera is a succulent plant and comes from the genus Aloe species. Aloe vera gel is a natural product that can help support skin healing. It may also play a role in skin swelling and redness. Aloe vera can also be consumed as a juice to support digestion. Aloe vera creams are also used for skin care as part of a beauty regimen and aloe vera is often an ingredient that can be found in combination with each other.

Niacinamide.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Vitamin E cream.

Vitamin E skin care creams are available in a variety of different forms, including lotion, gel, serum, and cream. Vitamin E creams are a popular skin care products on their own because of the potential properties of vitamin E with skin hydration, wrinkles, or age spots. Vitamin E serums have a long history of use in dermatology and cosmetics. Vitamin E oil can for example be applied on the face as an overnight healthy aging support treatment. Vitamin E usually comes with a thick consistency. Some people apply it before bed so that it can take the time to be absorbed during the night. Vitamin E can be found in different foods we eat and you can add more through healthy foods. Vitamin E may play a role with cell synthesis as well.

The beauty of skin care serums.

Serums are a key part of any skin care routine, and they come in all sorts of different shapes and sizes. Some serums are light and thin, while others are more viscous and gel-like. The important thing is to find one that works best for your skin type.

If you have oily skin, you may want to look for a serum that is mattifying and oil-controlling. Serums with salicylic acid or witch hazel can be interesting for this skin type, as they may play a role with pores and control shine.

If you have dry skin, you may want to look for a serum that could be hydrating and nourishing. Serums with glycerin or hyaluronic acid may be interesting for this skin type, as they may play a role with moisture and the skin looking plump or hydrated.

If you have sensitive skin, you may want to look for a serum that is calming and soothing. NAD + resveratrol serums with chamomile or aloe vera could be interesting for this skin type, as they may play a role to calm the skin.
